General Class Information

1. What do I need to bring with me to class?
Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes/workout clothing. Empower Fitness provides all participants with towels and has a filtered water cooler. Some other optional items you may want to bring are: a heart rate monitor and “clip-in” cycling shoes.

2. How early should I arrive to class?
If it’s your first visit please arrive 10 minutes prior to class start time. Returners should plan to arrive 5 minutes early.

3. Are there shower facilities available?
No. We have a restroom for changing but we do not have a shower.

Sign up for a free class, Empower Fitness, Santee, CA4. What if I am late for class? How late is too late?
Once class has begun (5 minutes into class), as a safety precaution and as a courtesy to the other clients, the class, and the instructor, you will not be allowed to join the class and we kindly ask that you come enjoy an Empower Fitness class on a different day. If you are not present at the beginning of class, then you have automatically forfeited your spot and your spot could potentially be given to any stand-by/walk-in client. You will be considered a “no-show” and fees will apply. We recommend that you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the beginning of class to ensure your safety and a prompt class start time.

5. Will you be adding any classes to the schedule?
Yes. Classes will be added and/or changed based on client suggestions and class sizes. We have left open spaces in our schedule to allow for class additions. Classes with consistently low participation are subject to cancellation. Please check the dynamic scheduling page to see the most updated schedule.

6. Do you still have class if only a few clients sign up?
If 2 or less clients are signed up, the class will be cancelled. The clients will receive a cancellation email notification prior to the beginning of class.
